We are recruiting: we are hiring a gtaw welder in Otero County, Colorado. You will be based at a busy sheet-metal workshop. You should have: • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight On a typical shift you will run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints; read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters; set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator; grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper; control heat input so thin sheet does not warp. Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. $24 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Full-time, day shift.
