Sheet metal welder • Chelan County, Washington

Now hiring: we are hiring a sheet metal welder in Chelan County, Washington. You will work in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. On a typical shift you will TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer; sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size; run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec; tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard 6+ years on the tools preferred.
