Tig welder — Wyandot County

Now hiring: we are hiring a tig welder in Wyandot County, Ohio. Day to day you will run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints; clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding; read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters; prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run. What we are looking for: • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
