Great opportunity: we are hiring a bodyshop painter in Muscatine County, Iowa. The role involves wet-sand and buff out runs, orange peel and dust nibs; blend new paint into adjacent panels for an invisible repair; prime and seal bare metal to stop rust; mask off trim, glass and rubber seals with tape and paper; compound and polish the cured finish to a high gloss; set the spray gun air pressure and fan pattern for an even finish. Ideal candidate: • Skilled with HVLP and gravity-feed spray guns • Able to read and match factory paint codes Full-time with occasional weekends.
