Urgent requirement: pipe tig welder (Anambra State)

Join our team: we are hiring a pipe tig welder in Nnewi South, Anambra State. The job is at a stainless steel fabrication shop. On a typical shift you will grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper; inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion; control heat input so thin sheet does not warp; set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal; weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges; back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring). You should have: • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium Six days a week, one day off.
