GTAW welder — Missoula County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a GTAW welder in Missoula County, Montana. You will work at an automotive body and exhaust shop. Day to day you will feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool; set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks; weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through; TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer; clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces Six days a week, one day off.
