You should have: • Familiarity with POS billing and order-taking systems • Smart, well-groomed appearance and a clean uniform • Prior experience as a waiter in a restaurant or hotel Your main tasks: • Handle guest complaints and escalate to the captain or manager • Check back during the meal and handle special requests • Lay table covers with cutlery, napkins, glassware and crockery • Take food and drink orders on the POS terminal or order pad • Upsell starters, desserts and beverages Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
