Immediate opening: we are hiring a production operative in Cherokee County, Alabama. You will work in a packaging factory. Day to day you will top up coolant, lubricant and hydraulic oil levels; segregate finished parts into bins and label the batches; measure parts with vernier calliper, micrometer and go/no-go gauges; monitor gauges and stop the machine when readings drift; set up and start the machine as per the job card; key in cycle parameters such as speed, feed rate and temperature. You should have: • 1-2 years' experience operating production machinery • ITI or diploma in fitter or machinist trade an advantage Part-time with flexible hours.
