Immediate opening: we are hiring a car painter in Patrick County, Virginia. You will work in a car refinishing workshop. What we are looking for: • Able to mix paint by weight on a scale • Good eye for colour matching and blending • Confident with wet-sanding and machine polishing The role involves: • Apply etch primer to aluminium and galvanised panels • Blend new paint into adjacent panels for an invisible repair • Apply primer, base coat and clear coat with an HVLP spray gun • Strip clean the spray guns and change the booth filters • Set the spray gun air pressure and fan pattern for an even finish • Mask off trim, glass and rubber seals with tape and paper We offer $4,900 per month plus benefits.
