Sheet metal press operator — Essex County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a sheet metal press operator in Essex County, Massachusetts. You will be based in a metal fabrication workshop. The role involves: • Punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components • Adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings • Load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed • Check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges • Feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts What we are looking for: • Attention to detail and steady hands for accurate loading • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • Familiar with die setting and quick tool changes Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Pay around $130 per day, based on your experience. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Six days a week, one day off. Contact us to fix an interview.
