Vacancy available: fire and safety officer (Cross River State)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a fire and safety officer in Boki, Cross River State. You will be based at an oil and gas facility. The role involves verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates; update the risk register and method statements (RAMS); inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height; stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action; investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports. Ideal candidate: • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot • Comfortable working at height and inside confined spaces • Clear spoken delivery for toolbox talks and inductions Pay around ₦205,000 per month, based on your experience. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
