Urgent requirement: we are hiring a horticulturist in Schuyler County, Illinois. You will work at a landscaping company. Day to day you will spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease; sharpen, clean and oil hand tools and mower blades; operate strimmers, leaf blowers and brush cutters; mow and edge lawns with petrol and ride-on mowers; apply fertiliser, compost and mulch to beds; lay turf and oversow bare patches of lawn. Requirements: • An eye for detail and a tidy, well-kept finish • Good knowledge of common plants, shrubs and seasonal planting • Happy to work outdoors in all weather At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. $5,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
