Slinger signaller — Armstrong County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a slinger signaller in Armstrong County, Pennsylvania. You will work at a container port. Ideal candidate: • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear Day-to-day duties: • Inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use • Coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller • Read lift plans and method statements before starting • Direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio 1+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Walk-in interviews this week.
