Fire and safety officer wanted in Jones County

Now hiring: we are hiring a fire and safety officer in Jones County, North Carolina. You will be based on a road and infrastructure project. You will run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry; inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height; investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports; verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working at height and inside confined spaces • NEBOSH, IOSH or a recognised OHS certificate Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
