Steel fixing chargehand wanted in Brevard County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a steel fixing chargehand in Brevard County, Florida. The role involves: • Keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust • Check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour • Cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder • Form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions • Bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine Ideal candidate: • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing Six days a week, one day off. $210 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
