Now hiring: we are hiring a groundsman in Saint Mary's County, Maryland. The job is in a botanical garden. Ideal candidate: • Pesticide spraying certificate (PA1/PA6) an advantage • Valid driving licence for travel between sites Day-to-day duties: • Rake up fallen leaves, grass clippings and garden waste • Plant seasonal bedding plants, bulbs and saplings • Prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers • Lay turf and oversow bare patches of lawn Meals and transport allowance provided.
