MIG welder • Fayette County, Tennessee

Vacancy available: we are hiring a MIG welder in Fayette County, Tennessee. Day to day you will grind back and re-weld any defective runs; clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead; tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing; check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration. You should have: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. $3,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
