Great opportunity: fettler (Texas)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a fettler in Floyd County, Texas. Day to day you will fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges; melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces; assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together; check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring. Requirements: • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor Overtime paid at a premium rate. Six days a week, one day off.
