We are recruiting: gtaw welder (Anambra State)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a gtaw welder in Awka South, Anambra State. Day-to-day duties: • Select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator • Feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp Requirements: • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings Six days a week, one day off.
