Great opportunity: concrete shuttering carpenter (Texas)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a concrete shuttering carpenter in Schleicher County, Texas. You will be based at a precast concrete yard. The role involves read formwork drawings and setting-out marks to position the shutters; check alignment with spirit level, plumb bob and string line; fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure; strike and strip the formwork once the concrete has cured; cut and assemble plywood and timber panels for columns, beams and slabs. Requirements: • Able to keep pace with tight pour schedules • Knows de-shuttering times and concrete curing Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. Overtime paid at a premium rate. We offer $5,100 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
