Vacancy available: we are hiring a rigger in Neshoba County, Mississippi. You will work in a heavy machinery workshop. Day-to-day duties: • Secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists • Check sling angles to stay within the working load limit • Take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings • Tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear • Establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area • Read lift plans and method statements before starting Ideal candidate: • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
