Paint and prep technician — City of Belfast

Vacancy available: we are hiring a paint and prep technician in City of Belfast, Northern Ireland. You will be based in an automotive paint and panel workshop. Ideal candidate: • Able to read and match factory paint codes • Confident with wet-sanding and machine polishing Day-to-day duties: • Mask off trim, glass and rubber seals with tape and paper • Bake panels in the spray booth oven to cure the paint • Apply body filler and block-sand to a smooth contour • Compound and polish the cured finish to a high gloss • Wipe down panels with degreaser and a tack cloth before spraying 6+ years on the tools preferred.
