Join our team: we are hiring a concrete shuttering carpenter in Crenshaw County, Alabama. The job is on a busy high-rise construction site. On the job you will handle: • Erect wall and column formwork to line, level and plumb • De-nail, clean and stack the panels for reuse • Fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure • Brace and strut the formwork to stop movement during the pour • Strike and strip the formwork once the concrete has cured Ideal candidate: • Follows site safety, PPE and edge-protection rules • Sound understanding of props, bracing and load-bearing • Hands-on with timber, plywood and system formwork Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
