Safety officer • Seward County, Kansas

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a safety officer in Seward County, Kansas. You will be based at a manufacturing plant. Your main tasks: • Enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment • Deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors • Run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry • Conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task • Audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges • Take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry Requirements: • Comfortable working at height and inside confined spaces • Minimum 2-3 years on construction or factory sites • NEBOSH, IOSH or a recognised OHS certificate Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
