Gas pipeline fitter — Cheyenne County

Now hiring: we are hiring a gas pipeline fitter in Cheyenne County, Nebraska. The job is in customers' homes and kitchens. On the job you will handle: • Fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls • Connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply • Fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances • Check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray • Complete gas safety certificates and label the finished installation • Read isometric drawings and mark out the pipe routes Ideal candidate: • Physically fit for lifting pipe, meters and cylinders • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing Rotating shifts.
