Now hiring: we are hiring a chiller technician in Roberts County, South Dakota. The job is at a food processing plant. The role involves: • Pull a vacuum on the system and check for trapped moisture • Clean condenser and evaporator coils • Braze copper pipework and joints with an oxy-acetylene torch • Read suction and discharge pressures on the manifold gauges • Charge systems with refrigerant (R134a, R410a, R404a) to the correct weight Requirements: • Own a set of hand tools and a gauge manifold • Available on-call and at weekends for breakdowns • Able to read wiring diagrams and pressure-temperature charts 4+ years on the tools preferred.
