Join our team: we are hiring a gas pipeline fitter in Bladen County, North Carolina. On the job you will handle: • Check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray • Fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls • Braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints • Thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant • Lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points • Carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply What we are looking for: • Competent in pipe threading, brazing and PE electrofusion • Driving licence for travel between sites • Clean, methodical and safety-conscious Full-time with occasional weekends.
