Vacancy available: gas pipeline fitter (Cross River State)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a gas pipeline fitter in Obudu, Cross River State. You will be based on residential and apartment building sites. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing • Valid gas fitter's licence and Gas Safe (or local) registration Day-to-day duties: • Fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances • Fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls • Install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation • Lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points • Set and adjust regulator outlet pressure with a gauge • Purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
