Nursery worker — Orangeburg County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a nursery worker in Orangeburg County, South Carolina. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit for bending, lifting and long hours outdoors • Valid driving licence for travel between sites • Happy to work outdoors in all weather Your main tasks: • Mow and edge lawns with petrol and ride-on mowers • Dig over and turn the soil and prepare seedbeds • Maintain compost heaps and the potting shed • Cut back tree branches and clear overhanging limbs • Lay turf and oversow bare patches of lawn • Water beds and lawns and set up drip irrigation lines 4+ years on the tools preferred. Pay around $170 per day, based on your experience. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Six days a week, one day off. Contact us to fix an interview.
