Production welder — Erie County

Now hiring: we are hiring a production welder in Erie County, Pennsylvania. The role involves: • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose Requirements: • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium • ITI in welder trade or equivalent 1+ years on the tools preferred.
