Floor screeder • Edgecombe County, North Carolina

We are recruiting: we are hiring a floor screeder in Edgecombe County, North Carolina. You will be based on a high-rise slab pour. Day to day you will compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing; carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab; give broom or steel-trowel finishes as specified; cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days. Requirements: • Able to work to tight pour schedules and night pours • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
