Immediate opening: we are hiring a gas meter installer in Newcastle upon Tyne, England. The job is in a gas distribution network. You will connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply; run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints; complete gas safety certificates and label the finished installation; fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls; locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections. What we are looking for: • 2+ years' experience on domestic and commercial gas installations • Valid gas fitter's licence and Gas Safe (or local) registration Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. We offer £2,500 per month plus benefits. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
