What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination You will grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish; weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through; set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks; run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec; feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool; clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush.
