Now hiring: we are hiring a concrete placer in Staffordshire, England. You will set out levels with a spirit level, line and pins; strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength; patch honeycombs and tie-rod holes with non-shrink grout; carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab; lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade; screed and level slabs to the marked dead level and falls. What we are looking for: • ITI in masonry or civil work an added advantage • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long hours on your feet • 2+ years on RCC and concreting works Part-time with flexible hours.
