Immediate opening: we are hiring an elevator repair technician in Jackson County, West Virginia. You will be based at a busy lift company. You will fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork; respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers; top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts; set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways • Physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. $2,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
