Steel fixer — Greensville County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a steel fixer in Greensville County, Virginia. You will be based on a busy residential building site. You should have: • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements Day-to-day duties: • Bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine • Tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers • Check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour • Lap and splice bars to the specified lap length Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
