Metal roofing fitter • Greene County, Virginia

Vacancy available: we are hiring a metal roofing fitter in Greene County, Virginia. You will be based on re-roofing and repair jobs. On a typical shift you will install metal flashing around chimneys and skylights; torch on bitumen membrane across flat roofs; nail down asphalt shingles in staggered courses; strip old shingles and felt back down to the deck; solder and seam standing-seam metal roof sheets; replace cracked or slipped tiles and slates. Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of both pitched and flat roofing systems • Working-at-height or scaffold safety certificate • Willing to work outdoors in all weather Full-time with occasional weekends.
