Plant operator (dozer) wanted in Tuscaloosa County

Join our team: we are hiring a plant operator (dozer) in Tuscaloosa County, Alabama. You will be based on a road construction project. The role involves: • Grade and level subgrade for roads, pads and platforms • Strip topsoil and stockpile it for later reuse • Carry out pre-start checks on tracks, hydraulics, coolant and engine oil • Clear land of trees, stumps and debris before earthworks begin • Grease pins and bushes and check undercarriage tension daily • Follow GPS and laser grade control to hit design levels Ideal candidate: • Valid heavy equipment or plant operator licence • Safety awareness around banksmen, trucks and other plant 4+ years on the tools preferred.
