Join our team: wood machinist (South Carolina)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a wood machinist in Marlboro County, South Carolina. You will be based on a commercial fit-out site. The role involves finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain; build and erect roof trusses, rafters and stud partitions; apply edge banding, veneers and laminate to board; lay laminate, engineered and solid wood flooring; install skirting boards, architraves and dado rails; measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge. You should have: • Confident with hand and power tools such as saws, routers and planers • Sound knowledge of timber types, grades and fixings • Able to read technical drawings and cutting lists Rotating shifts.
