Aluminium tig welder wanted in Buchanan County

Great opportunity: we are hiring an aluminium tig welder in Buchanan County, Virginia. You will be based on an industrial construction site. What we are looking for: • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Own basic hand tools and PPE The role involves: • Strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal 2+ years on the tools preferred.
