Now hiring: we are hiring a vertical milling machine operator in Traverse County, Minnesota. The job is in a CNC machining unit. Day to day you will monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters; measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges; keep in-process inspection records and log production counts; set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe. You should have: • Able to grind and set HSS cutters • Willing to work rotating shifts and night shift • Experience on Fanuc/Siemens CNC controls At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
