Formwork carpenter — Kano Municipal

Great opportunity: we are hiring a formwork carpenter in Kano Municipal, Kano State. You will work on a busy high-rise construction site. The role involves strike and strip the formwork once the concrete has cured; check alignment with spirit level, plumb bob and string line; box out openings for doors, windows and service penetrations; read formwork drawings and setting-out marks to position the shutters; cut and assemble plywood and timber panels for columns, beams and slabs. Ideal candidate: • Able to keep pace with tight pour schedules • Knows de-shuttering times and concrete curing • Skilled with circular saw, hand tools and spirit level Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
