We are recruiting: we are hiring a LGV Class 1 driver in San Mateo County, California. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit for long hours behind the wheel • Current Driver CPC qualification card Day to day you will report defects and book the unit in for servicing; reverse and carry out blind-side manoeuvres at loading bays; secure loads with ratchet straps, chains and load bars; check tyre pressures, engine oil, coolant and brake fluid levels; log working hours on the tachograph and swap driver cards; couple and uncouple the trailer and check the fifth-wheel lock.
