We are recruiting: we are hiring a gas meter installer in Fayette County, Georgia. On the job you will handle: • Thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant • Purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate • Check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray • Braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints You should have: • Able to read isometric and site drawings • Valid gas fitter's licence and Gas Safe (or local) registration At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
