Join our team: we are hiring a formwork carpenter in New York County, New York. On the job you will handle: • Watch the formwork during concreting and tighten up any movement • Strike and strip the formwork once the concrete has cured • Box out openings for doors, windows and service penetrations • Apply mould-release oil to the plywood faces before concreting • Erect wall and column formwork to line, level and plumb • Fix stop ends and kickers at the construction joints Ideal candidate: • Able to read formwork and structural drawings • Skilled with circular saw, hand tools and spirit level Full-time, day shift.
