Now hiring: we are hiring an aluminium workshop fabricator in Wayne County, North Carolina. The job is on a residential building site. Your main tasks: • Anchor frames to brick or RCC openings with fixing lugs and dash fasteners • Fabricate and fit aluminium composite panel (ACP) cladding • Crimp the corner joints and fit corner cleats on the crimping machine • Fix handles, hinges, friction stays, locks and multipoint hardware • Cut aluminium profiles to size on a double-mitre cutting saw • Check frames for plumb, level and square before fixing Ideal candidate: • Able to read shop drawings and work to given sizes • Accurate to the millimetre on cuts and mitre joints • Own basic hand tools — measuring tape, spirit level, cordless drill Six days a week, one day off. Performance bonus on top of base pay. $5,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
