Trowel-trade bricklayer wanted in Carroll County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a trowel-trade bricklayer in Carroll County, Kentucky. You will work at a renovation and extension job. What we are looking for: • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools Day-to-day duties: • Building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation • Raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish • Setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge • Spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel • Forming arches, piers and reveals around openings • Pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints 4+ years on the tools preferred.
