Vacancy available: we are hiring an escalator technician in Fayette County, Alabama. On the job you will handle: • Fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments • Test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake • Service the traction motor, brake and gearbox • Run load and overload tests with test weights What we are looking for: • Physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways 2+ years on the tools preferred.
