Join our team: we are hiring a hand presser in City of Falls Church, Virginia. On a typical shift you will meet the daily piece target without damaging garments; set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics; shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board; fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press; remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron. Ideal candidate: • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work Pay around $2,700 per month, based on your experience.
