Fabricator-welder — South Ayrshire

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in South Ayrshire, Scotland. Ideal candidate: • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium Day to day you will load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls; strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc; tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing; bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding; clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead. At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Pay around £2,700 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
